Tóm tắt: This study applied self-determination theory to understand the roles of teacher’s behavioral control and care in student learning outcomes. The research explored the relationship between components of classroom management and academic performance via the mediating role of motivation to learn of students in Business English classes at Ba Ria - Vung Tau University. By applying qualitative research combined with quantitative research (mixed method), this research tested the relationship between classroom management (teacher behavioral control, teacher care), motivation to learn and academic performance. The research results
indicated that teacher behavioral control and teacher care have positive relationships with motivation to learn and academic performance; motivation to learn is positively related to academic performance. In addition, motivation to learn plays a partial mediator role between classroom management and academic performance.

Tóm tắt: Being able to speak English fluently has become one of the must-haves in the skill set that a person needs to gain in order to apply for a professional position. Since the importance of this skill is well known, teaching and learning English Speaking at school has been greatly invested. Moreover, speaking skill is a difficult skill to master as it requires a lot of factors, which demand learners to invest a lot of effort to achieve. Understanding the difficulties that the students have to encounter, making an attempt to motivate them so they want to keep putting in efforts is crucial. PBL approach has emerged as a teaching and learning approach that encourages
learners’ motivation to learn. This approach is expected to not only support learners to study the language, but also to feel motivated to speak the language. The objectives being addressed by employing students’ questionnaire and teachers’ interview to study their attitudes towards the approach. The results collected from the study show that the students’ and the teachers’ attitudes towards PBL were positive, and this teaching and learning approach definitely helps motivate the students to learn English Speaking at school. Tóm tắt: Reading comprehension skills are necessary not only for learning but also for a wide variety of activities in daily life. However, it is an undeniable fact that because a lot of students do not know how to understand reading material, they find reading quite boring and difficult to deal with. Therefore, as the supervisor, the teacher must use some strategies that could help students understand reading texts better. Context Clues Strategy might bring benefits for students in reading comprehension. The goal of this study is to find out how effective teachers use Context Clues Strategy to improve reading skill for students at a high school in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.
The eleventh-grade students at Vo Thi Sau High School were the study's participants. The research method used for this study was classroom action research. The quantitative data was gathered during the tests (pre-test and post-test). According to the study's findings, just 11 students (14.66%) passed the Mastery Minimum Criteria on the pre-test, whereas 53 students (70.66%) passed on the post-test. The results of the study showed that students’ academic performance on the post-test had significantly improved. The comparison between the pre-test mean score (4.86) and post-test mean score (7.41) demonstrated this improvement. Additionally, it is
evident from their complete focus throughout the teaching and learning process that students were interested in Context Clues Strategy. Tóm tắt: This study investigates the impact of English teaching cooperation between native English-speaking teachers (NTs) and Vietnamese teachers (VTs) on improving English-speaking skill among primary students at UK Academy Ba Ria. Using a mixed methods approach, the study employed pre-tests, post-tests, questionnaires,
and classroom observations to gather data. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students' English speaking skill after implementing the cooperative teaching strategies, including team teaching, role plays, and interactive activities. Students reported increased confidence and motivation in speaking English. The
qualitative data highlighted the positive experiences and benefits of the cooperative teaching approach, while also acknowledging challenges such as language barriers and varying teaching styles. This study contributes to the existing literature by demonstrating the effectiveness of English teaching cooperation in enhancing primary students' English speaking skill. The findings have implications for curriculum development, teacher training, and educational policies promoting collaboration between NTs and VTs. Further research is recommended to explore the long-term effects and sustainability of cooperative teaching practices.
